Vice President of Development (Construction)
Base pay range: $200,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to fill the role of a Vice President of Development in our commercial construction industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and manage a variety of development projects, from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, warehouse, zoning, ground‑up, and land development and a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities
- Overseeing all aspects of the development process, from land acquisition and zoning approvals to construction and occupancy.
- Coordinating with architects, contractors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Evaluating potential development opportunities and providing recommendations based on market conditions, financial feasibility, and strategic fit.
- Leading and managing logistics and warehouse operations to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Ensuring all projects comply with zoning and land‑use regulations.
- Creating and implementing development strategies that align with the company's business goals.
- Managing relationships with stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and partners.
- Providing regular updates to the executive team on the status of development projects.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing successful development projects.
- Extensive knowledge of logistics, warehouse operations, zoning regulations, and land development.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to evaluate the financial feasibility of development projects.
- A results‑oriented mindset, with the ability to set and achieve ambitious goals.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A master's degree or other advanced qualification would be an advantage.
