Job Summary:
Prodigy Plumbing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Patcher to join our team. The Patcher will be responsible for repairing and finishing surfaces on walls, ceilings, and floors, ensuring they are smooth and ready for painting or other final treatments. This role is essential to maintaining high-quality standards in all our construction and renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patching, sanding, and surface preparation on drywall, concrete, or other materials
- Repair cracks, holes, and other surface damage
- Mix and apply joint compound, plaster, or other materials as needed
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ensure completed work meets quality standards and project specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas
- Work closely with supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in patching, drywall, or surface repair preferred
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction patching
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and work on ladders or scaffolding
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if travel to sites is required)
Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.
