Program Cost Controls Analyst (P2)

The Advanced Fighter Systems (AFS) program area within Advanced Products and Solutions (APS) business unit is looking for an early in career Program Cost Controls Analyst (P2) to support the Business Management Finance team as a cost, schedule and control analyst. The selected individual will be a key part of the Business Management Finance team in supporting critical development programs with external reporting requirements.

This position is currently designated as Onsite. The successful candidate will be required to work onsite at the following Raytheon locations: El Segundo, CA. Relocation assistance is not being offered.

What you will do:

  1. Provide weekly and monthly cost and performance monitoring and reports inclusive of monthly Earned Value reporting, & development of monthly LREs/quarterly EAC's
  2. Frequent interaction with various functions and multiple levels of the organization will be needed, so the successful candidate must possess strong presentation, communication, and professional skills
  3. Support the program EV cadence in executing the IPMDAR external reporting requirements
  4. Drive timely and compliant BCR processing in order to facilitate smooth month-end reporting
  5. Support PMs/IPTLs with ad hoc analysis in support of variance reporting
  6. Complete monthly CDRLs with a quick turnaround time in order to meet IPMDAR reporting requirements
  7. Supporting the monthly forecast process which includes coordinating forecast updates with program stakeholders and updating Rplan

Qualifications you must have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field & 2 years of related work experience
  • Experience with Excel skills (Pivot tables, Vlookups and/or conditional formatting, etc)
  • Experience with key financial tools including SAP, BW/AO, EDIT+, and/or PMX
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Estimate at Complete Analysis (EACs)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

The salary range for this role is 72,000 USD - 144,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
