Home Instead - Encino / Tarzana / Northridge / North Hills / Reseda / Winnetka is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home. These services are meant to enhance the quality of life, and help clients and their families meet the challenges of aging with dignity, pride, care, and compassion.

Duties and Primary Responsibilities:

*Companionship and conversation

*Provide stabilization and assistance with walking

*Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation

*Medication and appointment reminders

*Assistance with grooming and bathing

*Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues

*Alzheimers / Dementia Care

(Skills training provided by Home Instead)

Essential Job Requirements:

*Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds

*Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect

*Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, and Drug Screen

*Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance

Experience:

*6 months to 1 year experience preferred but not necessary

Benefits:
