About the Role:

The Human Resources Coordinator role is crucial to the success of our organization. Human Resource Coordinators will provide the introduction to all drivers that are hired into TowerEV. They play a key role in communicating the company culture and policies while ensuring the interviewing of candidates, drive testing, onboarding documentation and training is managed effectively. Human Resource Coordinators will bridge the gap between the recruitment team and the operations team to ensure driver experience is streamlined as they start with the company. Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Department: Human Resources
Reports to: Human Resources Manager

Hourly Rate: $19/hourly

Key Responsibilities:

• New Hire Documentation
  • Take training conducted by the HR department to stay up to date on new-hire documents and company policies.
  • Stay up to date with labor laws that directly apply to TowerEV operations.
  • Apply effective interview tactics to all meetings with oncoming candidates.
  • Keep a batch of new hire documents and tools ready for future training.
  • Work with the HR department to make sure both physical and electronic onboarding documents are stored/filed in appropriate areas.

• Interviews
  • Interview incoming candidates to assess their potential for working as a Professional Driver within the company.
  • Use interview tactics as directed by the company to ensure all incoming candidates are aligned within the company's business goals.
  • Practice creating a comfortable environment in the interview room to nourish a welcoming and open atmosphere with all candidates.
  • Assess candidates for their qualifications, past driving experience, and any relevant experience (e.g., previous Uber drivers).
  • Remain unbiased, focusing on the candidate's ability to fit into Tower EV's culture and operational needs.

• Driving Evaluations
  • Be a safe driver and maintain a clean driving record throughout the term of your employment.
  • Follow defensive driving techniques and adhere to traffic laws to minimize the risk of incidents.
  • Understand and correctly teach potential drivers on the usage of all vehicle technology standards per the driving evaluation.
  • Orient potential hires on the drive evaluation and scoring parameters.
  • Be assertive and provide safe directions during the driving evaluation.
  • Coordinate with HR Leads and other team members to ensure every drive test is conducted only after the candidate has been successfully added to the company insurance policy and finished their interview.
  • Maintain accurate reporting of all drive tests and file the reports in appropriate areas per the guidance of the HR department.

• Trainings
  • Update software on training laptops and clearing them after every use for upcoming training.
  • Maintain a welcoming training environment.
  • Maintain an engaging atmosphere for all trainees in order to ensure an efficient session.
  • Submit training reports and send them to appropriate departments.
  • Review processes of each day and continue to enhance your skills to improve the training workflow moving forward.
  • Perform 8 hour training days with the candidates to ensure they are ready for their first shift as a Professional Driver.
  • Study lecture slides to stay up to date with operational changes and needs to relay that to each new driver.
  • Complete onboarding paperwork on Paylocity to complete all HR related duties.

• Customer Service and Leadership
  • Maintain a positive attitude and assist drivers with app issues and questions regarding their employment paperwork.
  • Answer all incoming questions effectively and have a constant flow of communication up the chain of command within the HR department.

General Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong Leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement in learning.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to unpredictable situations.
• Handle interacting with various team members on a daily basis.
• Experience in Human Resources is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must have an active driver's license and be approved on the company's insurance.
• Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance as needed.

Benefits:

• Medical, dental, and vision benefits are provided through Thatch's ICHRA, starting on the 1st of the month following 90 days of employment.
• Paid time off is accrued weekly from the first week of work but cannot be used until after completing 90 days of employment. Eligible employees are required to provide ample notice and get HR/Managerial approval prior to using paid vacations.
• $40 personal phone reimbursement eligibility depending on position will be issued monthly.

Communication Channels:

• Email; a towerev, towermobility, or towerwav email will be assigned to you.
• Dialpad; for making outward calls or receiving inward calls based on department.
• Microsoft teams; for internal communication between employees.

Technology:

• Stay updated on technological advancements and utilize company tools and resources effectively.
• Preferred general knowledge on all Microsoft Applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
• General Knowledge of the Uber Application, and its functions.
• General to Proficient knowledge of Paylocity depending on job position.
• Be able to quickly learn new apps, software, and dashboards adopted and used within the company.
• Abide by the company's cybersecurity policies.

• Employees must have reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
• Schedules are malleable and may be subject to change. Please check in with Management regarding any changes.

• The work week is Monday-Friday with some Saturday's as necessitated by Operational needs and changes. 9am-5:30pm.
