The Guest Relations Host (Front Desk) is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by welcoming guests, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a positive and memorable guest experience from arrival to departure. The role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and a guest-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
  • Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
  • Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest profiles
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring timely resolution
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions
  • Promote hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to guests
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and billing inquiries accurately
  • Ensure front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
  • Adhere to company policies, service standards, and safety procedures
Guest Experience & Relations
  • Build positive relationships with guests to enhance satisfaction and loyalty
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service
  • Handle special requests, VIP guests, and repeat guests with attention and care
  • Collect guest feedback and report service improvement opportunities to management
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related education preferred
  • Previous experience in front desk, guest relations, or customer service preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and/or Property Management Systems (PMS)
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
