Akkodis is seeking a Project Turbomachinery Engineer for a 9+ months Contract position with a client located in Torrance CA.

Pay Range: $65/hr - $69/hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Job Description:

Sr. Project Engineer will be part of shaping and driving the turbomachinery engineering strategy across our organization. Providing technical guidance to cross-functional teams, you will lead advanced engineering analysis, testing, and modeling to optimize product performance and reliability.

Collaboration with stakeholders to define and establish project goals and metrics will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead and manage complex projects.
2. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
3. Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
4. Provide technical guidance on turbomachinery design and analysis principles.
5. Conduct advanced engineering analysis, testing, and modeling to optimize product performance and reliability.
6. Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
7. Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
8. Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
9. Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
