Working in close coordination with engineering and manufacturing departments, supply chain planners execute effective, creative, and smart supply chain strategies to achieve production goals. Some of the functions a supply chain planner will be responsible for include material requirements planning, change management and forecast modeling. Supply Chain Planners will play a key role in enabling SpaceX to meet the ambitious growth targets and greatly contribute in making us a multi-planetary species./ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliResponsible for managing and continuously improving both demand and supply plans associated with the Starship design group/liliMaintain accuracy and audit bill of materials in MRP systems in preparation for production at rate/liliAlign demand signals and allocations, maintaining product master data and developing expertise in in-house systems and reports/liliCoordinate with engineering, production, and quality organizations to determine change cut in and reduce obsolescence of material/liliMonitor spend to ensure adherence to project-specific budgets and forecasts/liliAnalyze supply chain data and report out metrics/liliAbility to develop and maintain strong relationships across disciplines and multiple levels of management/liliGuide junior staff members in some aspects of their jobs and provides strategic support whenever needed/li/ulpstrongBasic Qualifications:/strong/pulliAdvanced degree and 3+ years of experience working in one or more of the following; or bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience working in one or more of the following; or 9+ years of experience working in one or more of the following:/liulliEngineering/liliMaster scheduling/liliMaterial or production planning/liliOperations or supply chain management/liliMaterial cost control/li/ul/ulpstrongPreferred Skills and Experience:/strong/pulliTechnical knowledge of Warpdrive/liliAbility to influence/liliProven track record of taking ownership and driving results/liliExceptional analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills/liliEffective written, verbal and presentation communication skills/liliDetail-oriented, self-motivated and able to respond quickly to a fast-moving and ever-changing environment/liliConducts all activities with the highest level of integrity/li/ulpstrongAdditional Requirements:/strong/pulliMust be able to travel - up to 30% work week travel may be required, including international travel/liliMust be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to meet major milestones/liliThis position is based in Hawthorne, CA and requires being onsite - remote work not considered/li/ulpstrongCompensation Benefits:/strong/ppPay Range:/ppSupply Chain Planning Manager: $110,000.00 - $145,000.00/per year/ppYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience./ppBase salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
