Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist - 2nd Shift
Location: Garden Grove, CA
Shift: Swing Shift, Monday-Friday, 4:00pm-12:30am
Pay: $26.00 - $33.00/hr

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to set up, program, and operate CNC lathes for high-precision part production. This individual will support and train junior machinists and help ensure production runs smoothly, while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components.
  
  
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to maintain tight tolerances.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues efficiently.
  
  
• Collaborate with engineering to refine processes and improve production flow.
  
  
• Support and train junior machinists, ensuring safety, accuracy, and productivity.
  
  
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with safety protocols.

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience, specializing in CNC lathes.
  
  
• Proficient in G-code programming and CNC setup.
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings.
  
  
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials.
  
  
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, and dependable.

• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
  
  
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
  
  
• Familiarity with quality standards and inspection processes.
