job summary:
A Quality Control Inspector is needed for one of the largest suppliers of industrial and environmental machinery to the power, oil, gas, chemical and other industries in the Vernon, CA area. This position requires a professional with a High School diploma and over one year of experience to perform visual and dimensional inspections, manage quality documentation, and verify compliance with technical specifications and standards.

salary: $18.67 - 25.00 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
- Manage the content of the Inspection Test Plan and project quality plan
- Follow customer specifications, company specifications, and international standards
- Define, advise, and control all required project QC documents
- Document dimensional and visual inspections based on drawings or procedures
- Document non-conforming material utilizing the NCR process
- Perform any other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- More than 1 year of experience in process or final inspection is required
- Knowledge of inspection equipment found in machining, assembly, and test operations
- Effective utilization of Coordinate Measuring Machines is considered a plus
- Flexible and eager to learn
- Accurate and analytical mindset
- Positive can-do attitude
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
