Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a 2nd Shift Final Inspector to join their team. As a 2nd Shift Final Inspector, you will be part of the quality assurance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: 2nd Shift Final Inspector

Location: Lynwood, CA

Pay Range: $22 per hour

Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (Monday to Friday and saturday's as needed. Will need to be able to work OT

What's the Job?

• Perform and document in-process, first article, receiving, and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes.
• Read and interpret information from planning documents, tool design, blueprints, specifications, and quality inspection procedures to develop clear, complete, and precise records of inspection.
• Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to use.
• Interface with other individuals from various departments on issues related to quality.
• Initiate and prepare nonconformance reports and provide them to QA administrators.

What's Needed?

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in inspection.
• Familiarity with precision tools is essential.
• Ability to assist operators in understanding and interpreting quality specifications and procedures.
• Willingness to suggest new and improved methods for continuous improvement of the quality management system.
