As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Unarmed in Marina Del Rey, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will remain visible throughout your shift, interact with visitors, and assist with security-related needs. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall environment and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents as outlined in site procedures.

+ Assist with access control at designated entry and exit points as required by site protocols.

+ Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to patrons and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
