The Role

As a Recovery Associate, you'll play a critical role within our Recovery & Collections team-helping customers stay compliant while resolving outstanding balances. This role is ideal for someone who is empathetic, solutions-focused, and comfortable having financial conversations while maintaining a positive customer experience.

You don't need to fit a traditional "collections" mold. If you're customer-friendly, motivated, and willing to learn-we want to hear from you.

Note: This role does not include benefits or PTO unless required by state law.

What You'll Do

• Support customers through inbound calls and text messages, helping them remain compliant with program requirements
• Conduct outbound calls, texts, and emails to resolve balances and support retention efforts
• Manage and follow up on payment plans, promises to pay, and settlements
• Use strong judgment and organization skills to prioritize daily work and meet deadlines
• Consistently meet or exceed individual and team performance metrics (KPIs)
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive customer and financial information

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills
• 2+ years of experience in customer service, collections, sales, or account management (preferred, not required)
• Associate degree or equivalent professional experience
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations and recommend solutions
• Excellent listening skills and emotional intelligence-you know how to balance empathy with accountability
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, remote call-center environment
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to succeed
