Cement Finisher

The City of Los Angeles is offering a position for a Cement Finisher with a salary range of $99,054 to $109,599 annually. This full-time role is located in the CITY OF LOS ANGELES, CA.

A Cement Finisher does skilled work in mixing, placing, and finishing concrete, and may act as head worker on a small crew providing direction and guidance.

Requirements/Minimum Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must have:

• Four years of full-time paid experience with the City of Los Angeles in a class at the level of Cement Finisher Worker performing duties in mixing, placing, and finishing concrete surfaces; or
• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship as a cement finisher; or
• Four years of full-time paid experience as a cement finisher helper performing duties in mixing, placing, and finishing concrete surfaces.

Additionally, depending on the department, you may need a valid Class C, B, or A driver's license issued by the California DMV and a valid medical certificate. Candidates with a DMV record reflecting three or more moving violations and/or at-fault accidents, or a conviction of a major moving violation such as DUI, will not be eligible.

For those filing under the apprenticeship or City experience requirements, you must submit the necessary documentation at the time of filing.
