Quality Control Inspector - Second Shift

Industry: Precision Manufacturing / Machining

Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, 4/10 schedule)

Pay: $24-$28/hour (DOE)

Location: Covina, CA

Schedule Notes:

Candidate will train on 1st shift (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM) during the first week. Upon successful training, they will move to 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 1:30 AM).

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to perform dimensional inspections and first article inspections within a precision machining environment.

Qualifications:
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, gauges, optical comparators, height gauges, drop indicators, etc.
• Experience with standard QC measuring equipment
• Able to perform First Article inspections with minimal supervision
• Strong math and measurement skills
• Familiarity with blueprint reading & work instructions
• Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Proficient using Windows-based software
• Strong communication skills; detail-oriented and organized

Responsibilities:
• Perform dimensional inspections (in-process, first article, final)
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Monitor production operations for conformance to specifications
• Reject or tag non-conforming parts/materials
• Communicate inspection findings and recommended adjustments
• Perform additional related tasks as needed
