Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Report to work in a neat and clean uniform; maintain well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by company policy.
• Interact with guests coming in and as they leave, ensure a positive dining experience.
• Answer phone calls and questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
• Clean, organize, and stock menus at host area.
• Accurately quote wait times and take reservations that align with company reservation policy.
• Assist servers, bartenders, bussers, and managers when asked.
• Maintain restroom and take out area as needed throughout shift.
• Other projects and tasks may be delegated as needed.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
• California Food Handlers card is required for all service employees who prepare, store, and serve food.
• A willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• High energy and strong verbal communication skills required.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and work effectively within a sometimes-pressurized environment.
• Must be able to read menus, safety documents, and other work-related documents.
