Position Overview
We are on the lookout for an empathetic and proficient Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding imaging family. Your role will involve utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technologies to perform vital diagnostic exams, as you work side by side with a collaborative team dedicated to providing outstanding care. Each scan will not only assist in patient diagnostics but will also play a key role in offering reassurance and support.
Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures while communicating each step with warmth and clarity
- Engage closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality images
- Manage imaging equipment effectively, promptly addressing any mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information within the electronic medical records system
- Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound techniques and industry best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a similar discipline
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred
- Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- High level of technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and proper patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
