divh2Order Selector/h2pAt Whole Foods Market, we sell the highest quality natural and organic products. This starts with our distribution centers. The Order Selector is responsible for operating a voice-based headset system that aids in the selection of product shipped to our stores. As part of the selection process, Order Selectors manually stack product onto pallets, wrap and prepare product for shipment. Order Selectors are also responsible for operating electric/motorized ride-on standing pallet jacks./ppJob Requirements and Basic Qualifications:/pulliUse voice-based order system to select and palletize store orders/liliManually stacking product onto pallets, wrapping, and preparing product for shipment/liliRespect all Good Organics compliances when stacking product/liliOperating an electric/motorized ride on standing pallet jack (either single or double)/liliAssist in cleaning the warehouse, maintaining a safe working environment/liliComply with all applicable health and safety codes/liliCommunicate and maintain employee safety and security standards/liliArrive to work on time, wear appropriate PPE, work all scheduled shifts, complete required trainings and attend required meetings/liliAbility to read and speak basic English/liliPerform other duties as assigned by Team Leader, Associate Team Leader, Facility Leadership/li/ulpSkills/Requirements and Professional Knowledge:/pulliExperience working with an electric/motorized ride on standing pallet jack (either single or double)/liliExperience with voice systems a plus/liliTeam-player with positive attitude/liliStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines/liliAble to work well with others, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with little supervision/li/ulpWorking Conditions and Physical Requirements:/pulliAbility to stand or walk at least 10 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach with or without reasonable accommodation/liliMust be able to lift 50 lbs, Occasionally lift up to 70 lbs (team lift suggested for weights in excess of 70 lbs)/li/ulpWork in a cold/wet storage facility environment (ranging from -10 (freezer) to 55 degrees Fahrenheit). General warehouse temps 34-46 degrees, Freezer -10 degrees/pulliRegularly getting on and off powered equipment, stepping on and off throughout shift/liliHand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling/liliAbility to use tools and equipment, including safety box cutters, electric pallet jacks and voice equipment/liliMust adhere to company dress code and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)/li/ulpAvailability Requirements:/pulliAverage shifts are 8-10 hours long/liliAbility to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed/liliMay require the use of ladders/li/ulpThe wage range for this position is $18.00-$34.92 Hourly, commensurate with experience.
