Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized administrative assistant to support our warehouse operations in Cerritos, Ca. This position requires a multi?tasking individual to thrive in a fast?paced environment. The ideal candidate has a solid background in warehouse admin and assistant experience and will take a proactive approach in all aspects of administrative duties working closely with the warehouse manager.

Schedule: 8-hour shift; Monday to Friday

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth implementation of processes in place
  • Serve as a liaison between warehouse staff and other departments within the company
  • Respond to emails and phone inquiries: From customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic files: Related to warehouse operations
  • Prepare shipping and receiving documentation: Including packing lists and invoices
  • Assist in planning and organizing inventory counts and audits
  • Perform general administrative tasks: Such as filing, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies
  • Quality control: Inspect products to ensure they meet specified standards
  • Hands?on warehouse work: Assist with repacking, handling, and organizing inventory
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team: Participate in day?to?day warehouse activities
  • Contribute to process improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in warehouse operations

Requirements
  • Associate degree (preferred)
  • 1 year of administrative experience (preferred)
  • Excellent time management skills: Ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize work
  • Multitasking and prioritization: Capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
  • Attention to detail: Ability to notice and address small details to ensure accuracy
  • Problem?solving skills: Capability to analyze situations and find effective solutions
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish preferred: Clear and effective communication in both written and spoken forms
  • Strong organizational and planning skills: Ability to organize and plan tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite: Particularly strong skills in MS Excel
  • Experience with ERP Systems preferred (Microsoft Navision Dynamics)
  • Physical ability: Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds, essential for hands?on warehouse work
