Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Helper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in assisting with the maintenance and repair of our facility, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and safely. This position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the facility and equipment operate smoothly.
• Help with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues under the guidance of experienced staff.
• Participate in cleaning and maintaining the grounds, including landscaping and snow removal when necessary.
• Support the execution of preventive maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance.
• Assist in the installation and assembly of new equipment or furniture as directed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks completed, including materials and time spent on each task.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Previous experience in maintenance work or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general handyman skills.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow directions and work cooperatively in a team environment.
