Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting across engineering, design, go-to-market, and administrative roles.
  • Develop and enhance the recruiting engine, including interview processes, scorecards, sourcing systems, and candidate experiences.
  • Assess funnel health metrics such as pass-through rates and time to hire while driving continuous improvements in both quality and speed.
  • Collaborate closely with founders to strategize headcount planning, define role scopes, and maintain consistent hiring momentum.
  • Utilize inventive sourcing strategies through open source communities, GitHub, Discord, specialized technical networks, and outbound initiatives.
  • Attract and secure high-quality candidates by effectively communicating the company mission, growth potential, and equity opportunities.
  • Possibility to evolve into a Head of Talent role, encompassing mentoring recruiters and overseeing the entire talent strategy.

Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of comprehensive technical recruiting experience.
  • Proven track record in hiring across engineering, machine learning, artificial intelligence, design, go-to-market, and administrative teams.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced early-stage environments characterized by ambiguity and rapid iteration.
  • Hands-on experience in establishing or a strong interest in developing a recruiting function from the ground up.
  • Strong system design mindset for recruiting, including interview frameworks, process innovation, and first principles thinking.
  • Proficiency in utilizing data effectively to discuss pass-through rates, time to offer, and conversion metrics.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence founders and hiring managers with clarity and sound judgment.
  • A genuine passion for AI and modern creative tools.
  • Capable of building trust across varied disciplines and transitioning between engineering, go-to-market, and operations hiring.
  • Must be based in San Francisco or willing to join a high-velocity in-person team culture.
