Third Shift Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading food manufacturing facility, is seeking a Third Shift Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Third Shift Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Food Plant Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Torrance, CA

Pay Range: $29.00 $33.00 per hour

Shift: 3rd Shift (Overnight 10pm - 4:00am plus overtime)

What's the Job?

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures in production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure food safety compliance.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, P&IDs, and schematics.
• Collaborate with production teams to support equipment operation and train associates on basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete required documentation.

What's Needed?

• 35 years of experience in food manufacturing or a similar industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical controls, and automation.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Previous experience working with conveyors, ovens, and chili mixers.
• Willingness to work 3rd shift and occasional overtime as needed.
