About the Role

Shaka Wear is looking for a Graphic Designer to assist in creating impactful collateral for digital, social media, and printed media. The team is growing fast and an ideal candidate would be able to execute creative deliverables and identify trends in streetwear and be knowledgeable of up to date standards in design and programs. The Graphic Designer would be a team player who excels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is eager to learn and have no ego in the work. The Graphic designer will need to work across a variety of mediums (Photo editing, website, social platforms, etc.) in the creation of materials for developing and maintaining an impactful, on-brand experience as well as various email marketing, ads, and web. As part of the responsibilities related to social media, the Graphic Designer will need to work across all of team social channels on primarily static materials.

Additionally, the Graphic Designer will be expected to help elevate the brand's visual identity through detail oriented photo retouching, innovative design toolkits, concepts, and content while working with the entire creative team on an as-needed basis on other creative and graphics deliverables including print, logo design, production artwork, etc.

Objectives of the Role

• **Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign proficiency is a MUST.
• Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and quickly turn around work products including but not limited to ecom and lifestyle photo retouching, creative promotional material and presentation design.
• Detail oriented, organized and a workhorse.
• Exceptional Editing and photo retouching of product shots, ecom and lifestyle photos.
• Creative graphic design for merchandise.
• Streetwear background/ interest/ knowledge is a benefit.
• MUST be a team player

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate Degree in Graphic Design or closely related discipline preferred
• Experience at an agency, fast-growing consumer brand, streetwear or adjacent environment preferred
• Exceptional design aesthetic and awareness of design trends and innovation across a variety of static and digital mediums.
• Experience delivering great creative while meeting parameters of existing brand guidelines
• Extensive knowledge of social, digital and print design
• Proficient on Mac computer and recent Adobe
• Eagerness to learn and be part of a team
• An eye/ execution for good merchandise in streetwear or a fan of the culture is preferred
