Job Description
The Staff Pad has partnered with a premiere warehousing and logistics organization, and we are looking to hire a reliable and motivated Warehouse Porter for their Vernon, CA location.

The Warehouse Porter plays a key role in keeping our warehouse and facilities clean, safe, and organized.

This position supports daily operations through facility upkeep, waste and recycling management, warehouse organization, debris removal, and general support for the warehouse team.

What You'll Do

• Break down crates and compactcardboard using designated equipment
• Remove trash, recycling, andsurplus materials throughout the facility
• Report maintenance issues andrequest supplies as needed
• Sweep and maintain parking lots,walkways, and exterior areas
• Remove hazardous obstacles to helpensure a safe work environment
• Assist with warehouse organizationand material storage
• Safely handle cleaning products,sanitizers, and flammable materials
• Support the warehouse team withoperational tasks assigned by the Warehouse/Operations/General Managers
• Maintain a clean, safe, andOSHA-compliant workplace

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of custodial, porter, orfacility maintenance experience preferred
• Experience in a warehouse,distribution, or logistics environment
• Knowledge of cleaning methods,equipment, and safety procedures
• Understanding of OSHA standards andsafe work practices
• Strong organizational,problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions andwork independently or as part of a team
• Professional, dependable, andadaptable in a fast-paced environment

What You Can Expect

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work indoors and outdoors invarying weather conditions
• Lift up to 50 lbs. with or withoutreasonable accommodation and push/pull up to 150 lbs. using carts/dollies
• Perform frequent standing, walking,bending, lifting, and manual tasks
• Use cleaning equipment, compactors,and manual tools as required, safely and effectively
• Wear required personal protectiveequipment (PPE) for designated tasks
