The Office Assistant I provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the Head Start/Early Head Start Program office. This position assists staff, families, and external partners with daily administrative needs, maintains organized and confidential records, and supports compliance with applicable program requirements. This is a full-time, office-based position with a set Monday-through-Friday schedule.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, use their hands to handle or operate office equipment, and communicate effectively. The employee may also be required to stand, walk, reach, bend, and occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 20 pounds.
